13 years ago, Geralyn Robinson's passion for art, people and community combined when the opportunity presented itself for her to open her own art studio. Geralyn's Art Studio in Maplewood, New Jersey has been a fixture in the community for over 13 years. Students of all ages have created art and have developed their own artistic skills through her guidance.

This experience confirmed Geralyn's belief in helping others to realize their restive potential, just as she had. She will tell you that the children teach her how to be free with her own art. Geralyn's own discipline is inspired by her love of nature, sunsets, and people.

People, art, and adventure have brought her and Tara together to bring the Art of Travel Tours to life.

Originally from Ireland, Geralyn moved to US in 1988 and now calls Maplewood, NJ her home, along with her husband Marc and dog Rascal.

Tara is an award winning artist, showing her work locally and in the tri state area for the past 20 years. Her paintings are included in many private and corporate collections across the country. She has a BA in Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts NYC.

Nature and its beauty have been the inspiration for her work for many years. “I am fascinated by the sensuousness of Light. To witness the morning light, the filtered light through the trees and the soft haze of a fog. To capture nature’s essence and communicate it with my painting. To consciously avoid elaboration, rather leave a soft mark that allows the viewer to fill in the rest…the way the fog slowly lifts on a misty morning.”

O’Leary has been teaching adult painting courses in Italy and Ireland and continues to draw inspiration from her travel abroad, as well as the local landscapes of South Mountain Reservation, Cape Cod, and Block Island.
